Government and Higher Education: Partnering for AI Success

This workshop will outline how to establish a working and productive relationship with local colleges and universities around shared artificial intelligence (AI) goals. Often, the areas in which governments and agencies could most benefit from AI and technological assistance are precisely the areas in which colleges and universities excel: in engineering talent, data storage, and computational capacity. This session will discuss the benefits of partnering with local colleges and universities for AI success, as well as the challenges in pursuing these partnerships. Neil will provide examples of such collaborations that have proven successful, and impart concrete strategies around how to establish these partnerships in your city or state.
