CIO at HUD Leaves to Take Job at Education

The chief information officer at the Department of Housing and Urban Development is heading to the Department of Education.

Jerry Williams will become the chief information officer at Education’s Federal Student Aid office. According to sources, Williams will start at FSA May 5.


Since Williams started at HUD in July 2009, he managed several IT projects, including the institution of a project management and planning lifecycle tool and other management review processes to better handle potential problems.

Sources say Williams last day at HUD will be April 26.
