The Small Town Betting Big on the Solar Eclipse
While almost everyone in America will be able to see a partial solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, this small Nebraska town sits directly in the path of totality.
That is, a 70-mile wide area where the sun will be blocked for nearly two minutes. Needless to say, this town of 1,300 is preparing for thousands of tourists and the implications could be life-changing for this small town.
