Campaign to Get Every Kid in a Park Goes Live
For the next year, all fourth graders and their families will be entitled to a free pass to visit all federal lands and waters for the next year.
The Every Kid in a Park campaign was timed to coincide with the 100th birthday of the National Park Service (NPS), but the passes provided to fourth graders and their families allow them to visit any type of federal property without fees, not just those of the Park Service.
The campaign is an administration-wide effort among the NPS, Forest Service, Department of Education, Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Bureau of Reclamation, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Fourth graders, parents, and educators can get their pass here.
