Summit the Supercomputer and the Future of Federal Technology
On the June 15th episode of FedTalk on Federal News Radio, host Ben Carnes was joined by Dr. Jeff Nichols for the first half of the program.
Dr. Nichols is the associate director for computing and computational sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and is part of the team responsible for Summit, the world’s most-powerful supercomputer, which was unveiled this week.
For the second half of the program, FedScoop’s Tajha Chappellet-Lanier and Deloitte’s Dave Wennergren joined to discuss the ongoing IT modernization effort across the federal government.
