March 31, 2009

FEDmanager.com is pleased to announce a new partnership with Young Government Leaders (YGL). As the federal workforce continues to change, so must our reporting resources. By partnering with Young Government Leaders, we will provide our readers with a fresh perspective of current news and information from the voice of the next generation of government leaders.

YGL was founded in 2003 by a handful of young federal employees interested in connecting with their peers. Today, YGL is a recognized non-profit with more than 1800 members in more than 30 agencies and six chapters throughout the government and the country. YGL's mission is to educate and inspire young leaders to transform government and make it one of the top employment choices for future generations. For its members, YGL provides professional development, networking, and leadership opportunities.

Beginning next week, and then the first Tuesday of each month thereafter, YGL will have its own feature column in the FEDmanager.com E-Report. YGL will be using its monthly column to voice its fresh perspective, and offer news and information, not just for current and future generations of young government leaders, but to all feds interested in hearing from the generation who will meet the next set of challenges facing the federal government. YGL's monthly column in FEDmanager.com will be interactive. YGL wants to hear from you too! So, if you have a question, comment or idea you want to share with YGL, and get their feedback, submit it here on FEDmanager.com.

We are pleased to provide you this fresh news source as we continue our dedication to keeping today's federal workforce well informed in this ever changing public workforce.
